Annie Fforde is a visual artist and printmaker. She is a resident of Halifax. Annie’s work is largely based on creating experimental contemporary etchings, drypoints, woodcuts and monotypes for exhibitions and art fairs. Approx quarter of her practice is running printmaking workshops.
She has just received a commission to create a cloth installation based on her work in her current exhibition Fabric of Memory. This will be shown alongside Textile artists in the Manor House Museum in Ilkley. I am exploring the idea of layering colours and textures and this will be conveyed by transparent layers of fabric. This is where I’d like to develop my practice with including more 3D work. The installation is 1-16th November 2025.
