I’m a textile‑led maker with an MA in Creative Practice. My creative life revolves around turning recycled and reclaimed materials into something new. Clothing is my main focus — I love the challenge of taking donated fabrics, old garments, or unexpected materials and reshaping them into pieces that feel wearable, expressive, and full of character. For me, reuse isn’t just about sustainability; it’s about imagination, storytelling, and giving materials another chance to shine.
Alongside clothing, I dip in and out of mixed‑media work, especially junk journaling. It’s a space where I can experiment, and follow ideas without worrying about the outcome. I enjoy the freedom of combining scraps, textures, and found objects to create pages that feel personal and playful. It’s another way of working with what’s already around me, which has always been at the heart of my practice.
I’ve run various craft workshops from small community sessions to more structured creative activities. I really enjoy helping people feel comfortable enough to try things, make mistakes, and discover their own way of working. At the moment, I host a monthly online “bring your own project” craft group, which is a relaxed space for people to make, chat, and share at whatever pace suits them. I value the gentle, no‑pressure atmosphere we’ve built together.
Overall, my work is about accessible creativity, resourcefulness, and finding joy in the materials we already have. Whether I’m sewing, journaling, or supporting others in their own making, I’m always drawn to processes that feel grounded, hands‑on, and open to possibility.
