My name is Beka and I am a live illustrator based in the North of England (in West Yorkshire). I have illustrated for organisations across the UK in a variety of settings and I’m happy to travel.
I like to describe what I do as follows: I capture conversations to help people spread their word in an engaging and accessible way, creating a useful snapshot and visual reminder of discussions, meetings, conferences, celebration events and more. I can do this live (in person), online via a livestream or before or after the event. I can produce either a physical image (which I’ll digitise for you) or a fully digital image. I’ve also made illustrations completely remotely from my studio, to create maps, infographics and more. I’m happy to be flexible to suit your requirements.
I’ve collaborated with lots of lovely people including staff at universities on a variety of socially-orientated research projects (including Newcastle University, Manchester Met, Exeter, Sheffield and many more), celebratory events for various organisations, I’ve worked for New Art Exchange (NAE), Cognitive Media, several regional councils (Kirklees, Preston, Rotherham and more) and a number of local and national charities. I’ve worked with many clients multiple times.

Please feel free to contact me and book in a chat (with no obligation) – I’m happy to discuss what you need and see if my skills and experience are a good fit!
