As a fundraiser and consultant, with over 15 years’ experience, I provide services in fundraising, business planning, strategic and organisational development for a range of cultural and civic organisations and successfully deliver income growth across multiple funding streams. Following a period as a full-time carer, I’m excited to return to work and look forward to collaborating with creative peers across Calderdale.
My career began as an applied theatre maker (early roles at TiPP Centre Manchester and Clean Break Theatre Company), but since 2008 I’ve primarily worked as a fundraiser and strategic development consultant. I’ve secured support across disciplines including dance, theatre, film, craft, public and visual arts, successfully raising funds for capital projects, core costs, and programme delivery. Working with performing artists and companies as well as visual artists and craftworkers, my track record includes Arts Council NPO and project applications, local authority commissioning, HNWI and trust and foundation bids.
