I am a screenwriter, solo performer, facilitator and script consultant based in Todmorden. I began as an actor, working in rep theatre, film and TV for many years and moved to writing for TV and audio drama twelve years ago. I have written on long running shows for BBC and Channel 4 and created and written audio dramas and series for BBC Radio 4. Most recently I wrote on Patience S2 for Ch4, and my 3 part Radio 4 crime drama Undercover: The Fury is currently on BBC Sounds. I recently returned to performing, supported by an Arts Council Develop Your Creative Practice grant, and and currently developing an autobiographical show MOTHER DARK. I regularly teach a ‘Fundamentals of Screenwriting’ for Script Writing North and offer script consultancy and dramaturgy for film, TV, audio drama and theatre.
