I make yarn and ceramic jewellery and also cyanotypes (which you may know as blue prints or sun prints) from my home in the Pennine market town of Hebden Bridge, in West Yorkshire.
When the sun is shining I make cyanotype originals, bookmarks and cards under the brand Calder Valley Cyanotypes, which I also offer as giclée prints, notebooks, postcards and card gift sets.
When the weather dictates a cosier existence you can find me making my Wearable Whatknots: necklaces, bracelets, earrings and keyrings made using knotting techniques using recycled cotton yarn. I also make ceramic necklaces, pendants and earrings.
I find it a lovely combination of crafts / practices to engage in: one based on life outdoors, creating in the sunshine, and the other more suited to evenings and winter weekends in front of the fire, listening to music or an audiobook whilst my fingers keep busy.
