I am an artist-maker living in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. My work revolves around my connection to the Calder Valley, it’s nature, history and heritage. I make unique assemblages and paintings from materials found and recycled. My nature journals document the plants I see on my walks in the local area. I have been mudlarking the river Calder for over 10 years and have found many little treasures from years past. I love the
research and finding out as much as I can about the finds and it helps me to understand the local history. I run local workshops and have illustrated for a children’s book called, The Dragons of Wainhouse Tower.
