I am a fine artist working with fibres and textiles. My work explores the deeply rooted emotional and sensory connections we hold with nature. By reimagining the landscape using natural fibres and the ancient craft of wet felting, I invite viewers on an inquisitive journey rich in climate, texture and light.
Taking the rural environment as my inspiration, I draw on its colour, texture and form to create evocative semi-abstract landscapes rich in climate and light. These are highly textured felt pieces in which cloth is embedded and threads unravelled, as a painter with her brush.
Process has always been central to my practice, and through ongoing exploration of materials’ behaviours, I have over the years perfected a unique approach to the craft. Fascinated by the organic qualities intrinsic to the medium, I work solely with natural materials such as wool, silk and linen fibres.
Brought up in France and French Polynesia, I originally came to the UK to study Textile Design. Following a career as a knitwear designer, I set up her art studio in 2014 in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
I am a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) scholar since 2021. My award took me to the Netherlands to work with artist and activist Claudy Jongstra. I am also a member of the Society for Designer Craftsmen since 2025.
My work is bought by collectors in the UK, Europe and North America.
