CalderdaleCreates is the trading name of Calderdale Creates Limited (Company No. 17328960), a company limited by guarantee and registered with Companies House in England.

CalderdaleCreates is responsible for handling your personal information. Our address is CalderdaleCreates, c/o Voluntary and Community, Resource Centre, Hall Street, Halifax, HX1 5AY. As a not-for-profit company processing personal data for the purposes of communications to facilitate member activities, we are not registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) but do follow UK Data Protection laws to keep your information safe.

Your personal information is collected for the purpose of including you as a recipient of the CalderdaleCreates newsletter.

Sharing your personal data

Our newsletter service provider is EmailOctopus who provide email marketing and automation software as a service. EmailOctopus processes your personal information as a processor on behalf of CalderdaleCreates. EmailOctopus is a UK-based company and a product of Three Hearts Digital Ltd, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, UK. Its application and website is hosted by Amazon Web Services in the EU region and may transfer data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Therefore, data transferred and stored by EmailOctopus is legally compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the EU.

Your personal information will not be shared with any other organisations. We will never share your information with third parties without your consent unless the law allows us to do so.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Your information will be retained for 3 years, and for as long as you continue to consent to receive our newsletter. We will contact you periodically to ask if you wish to continue receiving the newsletter and to verify your consent for us to retain your personal information for this purpose.

If you unsubscribe, withdraw, do not verify your consent, or request your information to be removed, your information will be deleted.
