About me:
Lauren has directed Everybody Arts, an arts and education charity based in Halifax, since 2015. She works to realise values of creativity, care, and community, developing a variety of pathways in and through art. She is especially proud of the organisation’s impact in the creative-health sector and outside of work Lauren enjoys painting.
About my journey with CalderdaleCreates:
I have been an active member of CalderdaleCreates since 2020, supporting the development of its new governance structure as well as programming some events.
As part of the steering group I champion visual arts practice, highlight the needs and interests of artists, and contribute to creative health conversations. I enjoy working with colleagues to promote responsive, reflective and aligned work practices to help build a stronger, better connected cultural landscape for Calderdale.
Being part of CalderdaleCreates is a brilliant way to stay connected with others working in the cultural sector, share learning and work together to make Calderdale an even better place to live and work.
